Embracing a millennial ADDepression and joyful nihilism, Cheer Up Club sound like Pavement got in a fist fight with Elvis Costello at a Pixies rehearsal in Weezer’s garage.

Irreverent and sarcastic, the songs move quick, hit hard and get to the point, with deep grooves, angular guitars and the occasional psychedelic freak-out.

They can be found in loud, sweaty Los Angeles dive bars, bouncing balloons off the audience, shamelessly stripping down to their skivvies, and reminding us that no matter how fucked up the world may be, we can still celebrate the good, bad and absurd aspects of the human condition.
